Medical & Welfare Assistance for Coma and Unconscious Patients

To provide financial assistance for medical treatment, long-term care, physiotherapy, and essential equipment for patients in coma or prolonged unconscious states. To support families facing emotional and financial hardship due to long-term critical illness

Awareness & Advocacy

To raise public awareness about coma, traumatic brain injuries, and long-term unconscious conditions, including patient care needs and family challenges. To advocate for better medical support systems and compassionate care for such patients.

Emotional & Family Support Programs

To offer counselling, guidance, and peer-support networks for families of coma patients, helping them cope with emotional, psychological, and social challenges.

Education & Preventive Initiatives

To promote safety awareness in sports and daily life to prevent serious injuries leading to coma. To support educational programs related to sports safety, health, and rehabilitation.

Scholarships & Memorial Programs

To establish scholarships, grants, or annual awards in memory of Akshu Fernando for young cricketers who demonstrate talent, discipline, and resilience.

Community & Charity Development

To organize fundraising events, charity matches, and community programs to sustain the foundation’s activities and encourage social responsibility through sport.

Collaboration & Partnerships

To collaborate with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, cricket institutions, schools, and charitable organizations to maximize impact and reach.
